South Africa wins over Bangladesh

South Africans recorded a victory of 206 runs against Bangladesh in today’s 39th ICC World Cup 2011 played in Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur.

South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first where they put up a score of 284 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.

South Africa came out hard at Bangladesh, and the solid base that the openers gave allowed Jacques Kallis scoring 69 and Faf du Plessis scoring 52 to consolidate and accelerate seamlessly, giving their spin-heavy attack a reasonable chance of stifling Bangladesh, and bowling South Africa to the top of the group

The Bangladesh team scored only78 runs for the fall of all wickets.
