Rehman and Misbah-ul-Haq out of Canada match
COLOMBO,SRILANKA : Pakistan will be without left-arm spinner Abdur Rehman in their World Cup match against Canada on Thursday after suffering a left leg muscle injury in the 11-run over Sri Lanka.
Team manager Intikhab Alam said Rehman's injury will take five days to heal.

Afridi completes 300 ODI wickets in his career
COLOMBO,SRI LANKA : Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has reached an important milestone of his career today when he completed 300 wickets in One-day Internationals here at the R Premadasa Stadium on Saturday.
His 33th victim was Sri Lanka captain and dashing batsman Kumar Sangakkara who was caught by Ahmed Shahzad for 49.
Afridi is the third Pakistani bowler after Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis to reach this milestone.

Shiv Sena threatens Pak cricket team for WC final 2011
The extremist Indian party, Shiv Sena, has once again threatened Pakistani cricketers few hours before the opening ceremony of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.
Former Lok Sabha Speaker Manohar Joshi while talking to reporters here on Thursday said, "Bal Thackeray will decide
whether to allow Pakistan team to play or not".
This is the latest expression of extremism by the Shiv Sena leaders as Joshi clearly put question mark on the staging of ICC World Cup final match if Pakistan would qualify for it.

The ‘Official Game’ that was unveiled at a local hotel has been developed by the Mindstorm Studios, a local IT firm that specialises in games development. The company has managed to indigenously design, develop, and deliver an officially licensed title over all leading global game development companies.

Shoaib Akhtar has called the upcoming World Cup his last, claiming it to be the "defining moment" of Pakistan cricket and perhaps of his own career. In a characteristically free-wheeling chat, Shoaib reaffirmed that he wanted to stay fit throughout, and end the tournament with the trophy in hand.
"Is this the twilight of my career? Yes. It is very special, playing in the sub-continent's World Cup," Shoaib said in Dhaka. "I am not sure about how long I'm going to be playing, but I will try to make sure it is full of memories".
